The spiritual committee is open to all students on campus. The committee helps to organize the Wednesday night prayer meetings. They chose a weekly prayer leader and assist the prayer leader with thoughtful suggestions for worship, scripture readings, and reflections. The committee also organizes both a Fall and Spring Retreat with witness talks, prayer experiences, music and fun activities. The committee organizes other prayer experiences throughout the year such as Stations of the Cross, the Rosary, Adoration, reconciliation service, and visits to LaSalette Shrine. The committee also helps to decide Soul Food Topics, which is a gathering of students for dinner and discussion on Thursday nights of relevant and meaningful faith related issues. The committee's main focus is to imbue Newman Club with a "spirit of prayer" in all that we do.
