Common questions regarding Yoga

(Q) Have you practiced yoga and desire to add it to your weekly routine if it were convenient for you?
(A) It is now offered on campus at a very convenient time, (at a convenient cost)!

(Q)Have you heard of the many beneficial aspects of yoga but never  tried it because you think that you are not ABLE to do it?
(A)This is the biggest misconception.  Yoga is for Everybody!  Especially those who think that it is not for them!

(Q) Do you have past injuries or limitations that lead you to believe that you are incapable of a Yoga Class?
(A) Again, part of the biggest misconception! You need Yoga even more than someone in perfect health!!!

(Q) Are you a healthy, active athletic individual who believes that yoga will not offer a challenge?
(A) Please show up for just 1 class. We will make a believer out of you that the contrary is an absolute truth. You will be addicted.

  2. David’s classes are fantastic. I cannot wait to get back into them next Monday (I wimped out in the rain this past Monday). I find his classes to be soothing and restorative as well as challenging. Soothing, for those new to yoga…very non threatening, very welcoming. I was also nicely challenged. David does up level the poses throughout class and did encourage me to try to go a little further. I’ve been practicing for about 10 years and brought a friend who was new to yoga and we both left feeling that “yoga bliss.” If you haven’t tried the classes yet, do it! It’s a great way to end the day.

  3. Thank you for a offering the yoga class. It’s great to be shown the levels to strive for while being made to feel quite comfortable with working at my own beginner level. I always come out of the class feeling so much better than when I went in.
