Julie Chasen

My name is Julie Chasen, and I am currently in my junior year at URI. I am an Elementary Education and Sociology double major from Fairfield, Connecticut. In addition to being a member of Newman Club, this will be my first year being a URI 101 mentor. My favorite Newman Club activity has been all the community service projects that we have done. Including, cooking for the Welcome House, the mission trip to Nicaragua this past January, and Relay for Life. Through Newman Club I have made so many amazing friends, and have been able to strengthen my faith. In my spare time I love going to the beach, spending time with my friends and family and watching movies.
