Melissa Striglio

Hi my name is Melissa Striglio and I am a third year pharmacy student from Hull, Massachusetts.  I have two younger sisters and an older brother.  Growing up, my dad was in the Air Force and I have lived in New York, Texas, Ohio and Nebraska.  I joined Newman Club as a freshmen when I came to URI and have loved every second of it.  I have made many lifelong friends within the club and have had some of my best memories at URI while at Newman events. Besides Newman Club, I am in Lambda Kappa Sigma, the pharmacy sorority on campus, and also enjoy hanging with friends around campus.  I love going to the beach, playing soccer, skiing, scrap booking and just having fun.  Last January, I went to Nicaragua with many Newman club members and had an amazing trip. I am so glad I decided to come to the Catholic Center and get involved and  I highly encourage everyone to stop by.  The meetings are a lot of fun and the food is always delicious.
